Look at this most beautiful chick, such a photogenic bird. Such a loverly bird and very snuggly. I am sure that he or she is going to be a wonderful chicken and I only hope the attitude holds into adulthood. That way I can have a snuggly full grown chicken. That would be amazing and honestly a first for me and that would be awesome.
The day das been pleasant and I managed to sleep through the heat of the day and managed to get most of the grass cut vary early this morning and then cleaned house and then sleep. It was wonderful and I do love the night much more than the day as a lot more truth comes out at night. The strength in men who hold great presence in the daylight often become a cowering shadow of what once was. For me the night is what many consider the thing of the day. I find much comfort in the night, as a blanket is comfort to a child, it brings me a sense of happiness and joy the waking world just can’t provide.
Dogs and the cats have found a comfort at night with me, and they share the love of life with me. From the time they chase the odd thing outside to the when the cats come and head boop the life out of my legs. The whole pack of them make my heart fill with joy. The clucks of the chickens are harmonious with the crickets and the frogs at night, all three giving a part of a night’s songs. Giving the ones who choose to listen a gift of a song that holds more beauty than anything else ever heard and will never be heard again.
I wonder if that is part of the modern reason of the fear of the night, a subconscious understanding of the song, how when it ends, it will never exist again. I think that ties into permeate death that is unescapable. The finality of life being sung to them takes away the facility of trying to deny death. I rather embrace it and know my song is not here forever, but I shall sing it loud.
Until Later
Much Love
Your Friendly Ginger From The Woods.
