Day 498, Chicken And Frogs.

Into the blinds we go with the wonder and complexity of the current world, Born into a rush of growth that only ends when the time comes to retire into the grave. A task that is wonderful and yet so hollow along the way if not founded in a forbidden fruit of nourished souls. Broken not is the heart or the manifestations of the mind, I find the cracks and glued pieces we all have inside are the things we have killed in the broken stone and purified casted iron and steel. In them I find the nature of things has become barren and long forgotten in its rusted purity.

Long shorelines and the lost moments we have become so numb to we can’t even hold them memories. Blank days of the melancholy of the world we live in takes away the memories and gifts us with mindless days that have nothing to do with living but slowly dying. A collaboration of minds and thoughts that are forgotten in the time period of a human day. Where the chickens found kinship with a species not their own thought the means of common food. A frog found a friend in a teenaged chicken becoming used to its life along the pond.

Friendships formed in the muddy paths both take for the worms of the day are not in the sun but in the cool shade of a willow tree by the pond. Breaking ground, a scratching and turning of the soil brings not the corrupted purity of the iron shelves, not the soundless screams of the pavement under loads that do not bur bring death to the green parures that once found love there. Now those long times that once existed belong to the short term of these most impure cities with the things we have taken.

Long ago we found love in the tall grass that makes for the rolling hills that we have not taken and flattened into the morose lost love of the long grass and into the depths of consumerism that is now more of a self-imposed disease. You will not find me within the tombs of wired and concrete. I have found the greatest peace in the world, not in the machinations of the mind, nor in the writings of the past and present. Those moments are found among the chickens and frogs.

Much Love

Until Later
