What’s a piece of media (book, movie, song) that changed how you see the world?

The book mention in the title has been a world changer in discreet ways. I am happy to have a chance to read it as it has many views from the men who seek rescue when rescue is only within themselves. The time reading this book was wonderful as it shows the best of humanity when humanity is the last thing that today’s men would find no kinship and would be more likely to kill each other in manic misery. The end is true to the heart of many and holds truth of men and women across seas and islands. Forever changed for the better but never for the passion of the sea. This book showed me that the horrors of the dark are quite real, however the horrors of the mind are far greater.
