Rise and shine, I hope the night was kind to you and if you had to work the night shift, rest well and let the day become your dreamscape.

Ah how the ground shows the cold and fractal ice that has fallen from the grey sky, the sky becoming a ball room for the most worldly dance ever seen. From to and frow will the icicles will fall and give a cold kiss to the animals that call the outdoors home. The snow may fall now but long before this day many of the animals of the frozen world have made sure to have abundant food stores. A fool a squirrel is not, for hunger is steadfast at their door yet never enters as the squirrel has forged long ahead of time.

So the day has many things to do according to the weather that has come in, I have to collect chicken eggs, make sure the lawn equipment is all put away, then make sure the chickens and cats have a warm place to go to and stay safe. Got to make sure the fur nuggets are safe and warm. I really don’t want them to suffer in any way. I am just thinking that I am going to turn up the heater for them and make sure I get all the bawk bawk eggs collected. Back shortly.

Ok, Back, the chickens are doing awesome and love the first snowfall of the year. They try to eat the snow out of the air and have a bit of fun chasing snow flakes. The kittens are doing wonderful and have not been complaining too much. They complain a bit but that is just the cat way, they are the most vocal about things being off and needing it to be fixed.

So I managed to make sure the kitties were warm all night with a heater and this morning they were all happy to see me and were warm.

Then you have the cat hat, because laying on my lap is just not allowed apparently.

The snow is still falling and by the sounds of it we are going to get about 20 cms, It wont last as the ground is still not frozen and the ground heat will melt it. So this little skipping of snow is nothing to say much about. So the day is wonderful and is coming together very nicely and I have nothing much planned for the afternoon, heck, might even have a nap. It has been quite a while since I was able to have a nap during the day and since its nasty out, why not. I have some things that will need work during the day after words, just keeping fire going and making sure the kitties are loved and warm.

All in all life is just good, Though being lovely to chat I must depart as nap time is now way to tempting not to take.
