Good day humans of the concious minds, unconcious ones cant really read this. So the past weekend was a adventure of little sleep and much time being awake for many many hours. 3 days about 6 hours of sleep. Gotta stay up to make sure the generator kept going, the sub pump to have the eye on it, poop pump to the septic tank was still able to run. Then having to make sure the wood stove kept going and animals are loved when they get scared of smashing trees when the ice brought them down. Things change alot when the exitence of power no longer is given to you.

As the parental units are not the youngest and a bad fall could end up in the hospital and hung up with a broken hip or a broken arm or leg. Knowing I am able to help them gives me great relief as they are warm and have a chance to face challenges with knowlage that things are not going to fail around them. I could not have that, for that is a sons greatest sin, to watch as their creators die and yet see no reason to be there to prevent them. We worship things we dont have to take care of but the things that made us and raised us are forgotten with the intentions of just making money and a family when you already had one that you leave to die. I dont get it.

So the Ice storm was not as bad as once thought but was pretty brutal.

So lots of crap came down and froze a lot of the trees and such, we were out of power for 3 days but I prepped for it. So we were laughing, really the onlything that really changed was no net but I downloaded like 60 hours of youtube videos. Thank goodness for premium and having back up plans. Not planning when you know what is comming is asking for death and should not be bound to others to save you. Community is far from what it used to be, more of a concept for when needed. Never there when we are not paying for them to be there. I could care less. I love my family and the one neighbour who is elderly. They are the best and have a huge snuggly puppers.

All in all the weekend was good and now I should go and get some more food, I am a hungry guy tonight.
