What a great day!!!! May the day give you the feeling of greatness as well. Managing to get about 10 logs at 12 feet ready to go into the mill. As well I have one that will function as a structural beam. It is about 40 feet long with a consistant 18 inch diamater. No limbs and no knots. So I do have great hopes lays ahead more and more progress. The big Progect ahead will be getting the ramp done with the first cutoffs.

So what is going to be next after lumber is cut and i wait for the snow to melt as i need to find the best spot to drill into. Well I have the huge tree I dropped to lumber. One of the projects here that are not mine but i will help with is rebuilding a outhouse. With that i hope to be able to get all the lumber out of the big one. Oh Oh yes i almost forgot, the river has almost dropped enough for now so i might have a day to cross it to get the things needed to complete basic things. Getting ahead of myself there, but needed information will allow me to plan ahead. Failing to plan is planning to fail.

All things together the day has been very productive so far, the one thing i have to get is my locking block up to the spot. I need to have a level base for my sawmill. However the needs of the day need me to depart and get more done.
