Though I know traditionaly that the sun does not have a name, and that I had to look up the deffinition of “figure”. The sun is my favorite historical figure. A lot of people can say a human of great consequent or ones who have changed the world. Either for the better or not. I think before all that was the sun. It gave the gravitational feild for the planets to form. The sun gave us a orbital plane to have the right tempature to have liquid water and life. We are but a side effect in a sence to the sun. So yeah, that big ol plasma ball if my favorite historical figure.
